    Please note: This is a two day course and participants must be able to attend both days.

    This mental health first aid training course aims to raise awareness of mental health and wellbeing issues, providing participants with basic crisis first aid skills training. 

    The course includes sessions about attitudes, recovery, alcohol and drugs, suicide, listening skills, self-harm, depression, anxiety, and psychosis. 

    By the end of this course participants will have: 

    • Increased knowledge about mental health issues in Scotland 
    • Increased skills and confidence in recognising the signs of mental health problems or suicidal thoughts, be able to provide initial help and guide towards appropriate professional help 
    • Explored issues around recovery

    The course is facilitated by Alison Ramsay and Eddie Martin from Fife Health and Social Care Partnership.

    This is a two day course and participants must be able to attend both days. 

    Who should attend? 

    This course would suit anyone who is interested in developing their knowledge and skills in supporting someone with a mental health problem or suicidal thoughts. 

    Course Details 

    9.00-4.30 on Monday 14 April and Tuesday 15 April 2025. 

    Tea, coffee, and a working lunch will be provided.
