Children's Hearings Scotland (CHS) is looking for people to become panel members helping make legal decisions with and for children and young people in children's hearings.

CHS recruit, train, and support their panel members.

The qualities you use every day are exactly what Scotland's infants, children, and young people look for in a volunteer panel member. As a panel member, your role is to listen and make legal decisions with and for young people, and to ensure that the young person is at the heart of every decision made.

If you are a good listener, have empathy, are trustworthy, and can show compassion, volunteering for CHS may be the role for you.

To find out more and apply to become a panel member, check out the Children's Hearings Scotland website.

The closing date for applications is 11.59pm on Monday 24 February 2025.
