    Post: Family Support Worker 
    Hours: 30 hours per week (may includes evenings and weekends to suit the needs of the clients) 
    Salary: £14.00 per hour 
    Location: Collydean Community Centre 

     

    Collydean Community Centre is looking for an experienced practitioner to work in their busy community centre in Glenrothes which provides individual and group work support to parents/carers experiencing a range of social challenges. 

    You will have at least two years' experience of supporting families in a social care/community setting. 

    You should hold a minimum qualification of SVQ 3 Services Children and Young People or HNC/D in Social Care or Working with Communities, or equivalent. 

    You must have a positive and flexible approach as well as an understanding of social issues, individuals, and families. 

    You will need to be self-motivated, have a flexible approach, a good team player, and have the ability to work using your own initiative. 

    This post is subject to a PVG and satisfactory references.
