    Are you passionate about making a difference to the lives of young people? Join Collydean Community Centre as a sessional Youth Worker! 

    They are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join their team. 

    The Role 

    As a sessional Youth Worker you will play a key role in supporting young people, helping build confidence, develop new skills, and achieve their potential. You will work in a variety of settings, delivering activities, and providing guidance to create a safe, positive, and inclusive environment. 

    Key Responsibilities 

    • Lead and assist in youth-focused activities and projects 
    • Build supportive relationships with young people, fostering their personal development 
    • Work collaboratively with other staff members to plan and deliver effective youth programmes 
    • Encourage positive behaviour, problem solving, and conflict resolution 
    • Monitor and report on the progress of individuals or groups 

    They are looking for individuals who: 

    • Have a passion for youth development and empowerment 
    • Have experience working with young people (volunteer, work, or lived experience) 
    • Are reliable, flexible, and able to work independently or as part of a team 
    • Have strong communication skills and a proactive attitude 
    • Relevant qualifications (e.g. youth work, social work, or related fields) are desirable but not essential
