This event is being organised by Fife Voluntary Action
We are hosting an information session for our Kingdom Companions befriending service. If you are interested in finding out more, please join us on Wednesday 26 February 2025 Glenrothes for a chat and refreshments.
Kingdom Companions is a project for vulnerable, perhaps socially isolated or lonely adults who need support to achieve a goal for themselves. This may be getting back out in the community or travelling independently.
Volunteer befrienders are asked to provide friendly, relaxed, and encouraging support to the adult, one-to-one on a regular basis for up to 16 weeks. It could be within the adult’s own home or in the community.
If this sound like something you would like to be involved in, then please pop along to our session where you will find out more about what is involved in becoming a community befriender – we would love to see you there!
