This event is being organised by NHS Fife
This particular event is free to attend, so no payment is required.
NHS Fife invite you to join them to think about how support and containment can be provided to children, young people, and their families who are experiencing difficulties with distress, suicidal ideation, and self-harm.
The will facilitate an interactive learning session to increase your confidence in having conversations about risk. You will then think about how support can be provided to children, young people, and their families to create a safety plan and introduce them to helpful supports.
At the end of the session, they will take time to create and practice helpful coping strategies that you can share with children, young people, and families you are working with.
Who should attend?
This course is suitable for professionals working with children or young people in Fife.
