    Post: Administrative Assistant
    Contract: Fixed term post, initially until 31 March 2025
    Hours: 21 hours per week
    Salary: £12.60 per hour with 8% pension contribution (7% employer, 1% employee)
    Location: Glenrothes

    Fife Voluntary Action (FVA) is looking for an Administrative Assistant to provide high quality support to the organisation.

    The postholder will provide a range of administrative services including, but not limited to, phone calls, processing mail, spreadsheets, database updates, photocopying, shredding, and filing.

    You will also organise meetings and take minutes as required, produce articles for the website, support staff with specific activities such as events, and adhere to the office checklist.

    About You

    FVA is looking for someone who is willing to learn, work as part of a team, and help others. You should be organised and efficient, with a personal commitment to equal opportunities, honesty, integrity, and a strong sense of ethics.

    It’s essential you have good Word processing skills, including experience of the Microsoft suite, good written and numeracy skills, attention to detail, and good people skills.

    An understanding of the voluntary or charitable sector is desirable.
