Large Grants are for registered charities working in Scotland with an annual income of over £200,000 and up to £2 million, that support people who are experiencing (or are at high risk of experiencing) poverty and trauma.
Who can apply
- Registered charities working in Scotland, with an annual income of over £200,000 and up to £2 million, that support people who are experiencing (or are at high risk of experiencing) poverty and trauma
- Unrestricted or restricted revenue funding of between £20,000 and £50,000 per year, typically for three years but may be considered in exceptional circumstances for up to 5fiveyears. This can include the costs of equipment to support your work
- Work that is clearly and intentionally aligned to a priority described within one or more of our themes. Details of the themes and priorities are as follows*:

They’ll aim to give you a funding decision within 10-12 weeks of receiving your application. If there are any changes to this timescale, they'll notify applicants on an individual basis.
*They will be launching a fourth funding theme later this year, following on from their previous Emotional Wellbeing and Relationships theme, with a sharper focus aligned to the aims of their strategy. Please sign up to their mailing list to receive details of this when they become available.
