The Scottish Government have launched their Winter Preparedness campaign.

Winter can be a particularly difficult time, with an increased risk of disruption from severe weather. The Scottish Government have prepared advice and guidance to make sure the people of Scotland have the help and support they need.

    The guidance aims to:

    • Highlight the risks associated with specific severe weather conditions before they occur, recommending actions that businesses, communities, and individuals can take to minimise the negative impacts
    • Promote responsible behaviours during severe weather incidents
    • Increase awareness of information, advice and guidance on how to prepare for, respond to, and recover from severe weather emergencies
