Fife Community Interpreting Service (FCIS) provides interpreting and translation services in 34 languages, with over 60 interpreters on its register.FCIS has demonstrated not only the need for its service, but its capacity as an organisation to respond to demand through a team of trained and experienced interpreters who travel across Fife and surrounding areas.
Person Criteria
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to successfully multi-task
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, excellent IT know-how and working knowledge of office equipment
Duties include:
- Providing general administrative support as and when required by the Senior Administrator
- Managing incoming calls, e-mails and inquiries in a professional and efficient manner
- Receiving and issuing booking requests to interpreters
- Assisting with invoices
- Handling all sensitive information with strict confidentiality
