  • Bonfire Safety Campaign 2024

    Created: 23/10/2024
    News/Events Category: General News

Bonfire Night is one of the busiest nights of the year for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service. In 2023, the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) received 892 calls on Bonfire Night, with Operations Control staff mobilising to 355 bonfires.

The Bonfire Night campaign aims to raise awareness of the dangers and to help keep communities safe. SFRS recommends the public attend organised displays, if possible.
