Kingdom Housing Association provides housing and support throughout East Central Scotland. Their Asset Management team manage, maintain and invest in their property assets to make sure that their properties provide attractive, good quality homes for residents and future customers.
About the Role
Kingdom is currently recruiting for an Electrician to join their team of multi-skilled operatives. The role will involve carrying out a wide range of electrical work across all of Kingdom's properties and offices. This includes installations, smoke and heat detector programme, EICRs and all other electrical work. In addition, there will be some minor multi-trade work such as basic joinery and plumbing.
Participation in the out of hours emergency on-call rota will be required. In addition to the on-call service, evening and weekend work may be required to meet the needs of the service.
About You
You should be a qualified or Approved Electrician, ideally with previous experience in a maintenance environment. You must have a flexible approach to work, have strong customer service skills and be able to work well on your own and as part of a team. A van, some tools and testing equipment will be provided. A current and valid driving licence is essential. You will be required to complete a satisfactory Standard Police Act Disclosure Scotland check.
