It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.The Scottish Government's Improving Mental Health and Wellbeing Division will host a workshop on Mental Health and Wellbeing in October.
This session will cover:
- A high level overview of the Mental Health and Wellbeing Strategy, highlighting the focus on prevention, the need for a whole system approach and the need for different types and formats of mental health and wellbeing support and advice
- The action in the DP relating to embedding mental health and wellbeing support within employability services
- Overview of the recent survey findings and how these will help to inform next steps
- Information and signposting to a range of existing supports such as employer platform, network and newsletters, Mind to Mind, advice pack for frontline workers etc.
- Discussion to hear further from partnerships about their own experiences, what some of the challenges and opportunities are and what further support they feel they need
- Consider opportunities for further collaboration and agree some next steps
