This event is being organised by Scottish AutismThe Chronic Pain Peer Support Group is for autistic people or people who identify as autistic, age 18+ who live in the Fife area.
You will explore strategies of support to manage pain as well as link with professionals who can offer advice and guidance.
The sessions will be relaxed and friendly where the group can share their own stories, support needs and strategies. They will also ask for ideas around themed sessions, this may include:
- Advocacy support
- Hospital/medical passport
- Occupational Therapy
- Physio
- Reiki
- Alternative therapies more widely
- Circles of support
- Emergency Scenario
This will be a hybrid group and you can choose to attend in person or online via Zoom.
Target Audience: Autistic people or people who identify as autistic, aged 18+ who live in Fife.
