Families First work alongside children, young people and their families, experiencing disadvantage and adversity living in North East Fife. Based in St Andrews, Families First aims to help vulnerable children, young people and their families integrate into society more easily. Their early intervention services work with children, young people and their parents and carers to address the challenges they face to improve their confidence and self-esteem, creating opportunities for the whole family.
Candidates must have:
- An SVQ Level 4 in Childcare or equivalent
- An SVQ Level 4 in management or equivalent
- Minimum of five years' demonstrable experience of management at a senior level within a comparable organisation
- Demonstrable experience of working within a charity or care environment
- Demonstrable experience of strategic planning and negotation with funding and regulatory bodies
- Knowledge of health and safety and the resulting legal requirement
