The BIG Family Event is a day of fun and learning for parents and carers and their young people. Run by Cyrenians Scottish Centre for Conflict Resolution, this free event is for anyone in your family who wants to connect and learn more about family relationships and wellbeing.
Families can expect a warm welcome and an opportunity to take part in a range of fun and interesting sessions and activities, including:
- Fun family activities (yoga, cooking, art, games)
- Ask the experts - family services on hand to answer your questions
- Free lunch and refreshments throughout the day
The BIG Family Event will feature speakers, workshops and stalls as well as representatives of organisations who run family services. Cyrenians’ Cook School will be on hand to share cost-cutting tips, while there’s also a family yoga session and a Conversation Café.
Cyrenians CEO Ewan Aitken will kick the day off with an opening speech, while Minister for Social Care, Mental Wellbeing and Sport, Maree Todd, will speak after lunch.
