Lunchtime Learning - Creating the Conditions for Co-Production: Learning from Struggle to Strength
Created: 09/09/2024FVA lunchtime learning sessions are aimed at raising the skills and capacities of local service providers interested in improving or enhancing their provision in Fife.
Co-production is a way of working together where everyone who is involved – including people with lived experience, people who deliver services and people who commission services - make decisions together as equal partners.
Struggle to Strength was an ambitious two-year initiative led by Fife Voluntary Action, which brought together the voices of people with lived experiences of unemployment, mental health challenges and trauma to improve services and support within Fife.
At this session, members of the Fife Voluntary Action Lived Experience Team will reflect on the findings and recommendations from the evaluation of the Struggle to Strength programme produced by Matter of Focus: Understanding and evaluating the value of peer support and lived experience in service design and delivery: - Matter of Focus (matter-of-focus.com).
They will discuss learning across the three core themes identified by the report:
This session will be of particular value and interest to partners in all networks that want to involve the lived experience of their service users in their service design and long-term strategy.
