Fife Climate Hub - Community Development Officer (Engagement)
Created: 02/09/2024
Fife Climate Hub is looking for a dynamic and motivated Community Development Officer (Engagement) to help them build a diverse and inclusive network of groups dedicated to climate and biodiversity action. In this role, you’ll reach out to new and varied audiences, inspiring them to prioritise climate action and supporting existing FCCAN members to enhance their impact.
You’ll work through established networks and collaborate with key stakeholders in Fife to connect, inspire, and empower community groups in ways that suit their unique needs.
As a key liaison between FCCAN’s members, partners, and stakeholders, you’ll also support the initiation and development of climate action projects through events, talks, and workshops. Working closely with their team of Community Development Officers and the Communications and PR Officer, you’ll ensure that resources, funding, and training opportunities are effectively shared across the network.
If you’re passionate about community engagement and climate action, they want to hear from you!
How to apply
The closing date for applications is 25 September 2024.
Equal Opportunities
FCCAN believe that equity, diversity and inclusion strengthen and enriches us, and that it is the responsibility of everyone at FCCAN to drive this value. As ethnic minority groups and disabled people are currently under-represented within FCCAN they particularly urge and welcome applications from these communities.
Please contact Fife Climate Hub Manager Andrea Habeshaw at [email protected] to discuss any additional support you may need to complete your application or take part in the recruitment process at jobs@fccan.org.uk
