    News/Events Category: Job Vacancies

    Post: Volunteer Coordinator Required
    Hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9.30-1.30
Location: Over Rankeilour Walled Garden, Cupar

Aiming to provide a safe and supportive green space environment, Over Rankeilour Walled Garden has been open to volunteers since June 2022. The project is looking for a new volunteer coordinator to lead the twice-weekly volunteer sessions alongside support from the current team. Ideally, applicants will have some experience in therapeutic horticulture and gardening, confident in managing groups of up to 10 volunteers.

The role will involve organising and supporting volunteers in the day-to-day activities of the garden. Over Rankeilour Walled Garden is a small project in its infancy looking to expand and improve upon what it is currently offering, so a new team member has a real opportunity to make their mark on this project.

The position, currently funded by the Fife Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund, is available from October 2024. There many be the possibility to extend working hours going forward into 2025.
