    Money Advice Scotland's Financial Wellbeing Officer, Rebecca Ketterer-Young will be joined by Stewart Gibson and Iona Clark from Brodies Solicitors to deliver a webinar on wills and powers of attorney, highlighting the importance of having these essential documents in place.

    In relation to wills, they will cover:

    • Why they are important
    • The appointment of executors
    • The inheritance of your assets
    • Protecting young or vulnerable beneficiaries
    • Appointing guardians for your children
    • How to make sure your will is valid and effective

    In relation to power of attorney, they will cover:

    • Why they are important
    • Continuing powers of attorney
    • Welfare powers of attorney
    • Advance directives
    • The alternatives to powers of attorney
    • Certification of capacity
    • Registration with the Office of the Public Guardian

    They will finish the webinar with a Q&A session for any questions you may have.
