Cardenden Village Fair brings together a wide variety of organisations, businesses, and charities to help them raise funds and have an entertaining, fun day.
This year's event theme is 'Volunteering' and Pamela Bennett, Volunteering Development Officer at FVA, will be on hand to promote all things volunteering. Pamela looks after volunteering for the Cardenden, Cowdenbeath, and Lochgelly area.
Pop along to say hello to Pamela who can offer advice on a wide range of volunteering opportunities and help with the practical side of volunteering, as well as helping you find the right volunteering role for you in the area.
In addition to the FVA Volunteering stand, there is a range of organisations and entertainment to explore:
- Hampden Museum's touring exhibition about the history of Scottish women's football
- Oliver's Army Assistance Dogs & Therapy
- Melville Equestrian
- Deansie's Designs Face Painters
- Bowhill Karate Club
- George with the Kirkcaldy & District Pipe Band
- Danielle Law School of Dance & Music Highland Dancers
The Scouts are providing hospitality to entertainers and volunteers and will help to clear up the event.
The event is sponsored by Ventient Westfield Cardenden Community Fund, administered by Foundation Scotland.
