    Ready for Youth Work is a practical course for youth workers and volunteers run by Youth Scotland to ensure that they can:

    • Create a safe space for young people
    • Plan, deliver, and evaluate fun youth work sessions for young people
    • Engage young people meaningfully and celebrate and recognise their achievements

    Accreditation available at SQCF level 3.

    This course consists of five sessions delivered over four dates including:

    02 September 6.00-9.00 Introduction to Youth Work and Youth Participation Online
    04 September 6.00-9.00 Awards training Online
    09 September 1.30-8.00 First Aid Awareness and Games New Volunteer House, Kirkcaldy
    16 September 6.00-9.00 Child Protection Awareness Online

    To complete the course you must be able to attend all the above dates.

    Cost to attend

    This training is free for Youth 1st/Youth Scotland members and their partners in the Uniformed Youth Work Sector.  All others will be charged £50 (plus a small Eventbrite fee) per head.
