    Contract: This position is being offered through Fife Jobs Contract, initially for 13 weeks
    Hours: 36 hours per week (Monday-Thursday 8.30-4.30, Friday 9.30-3.00)
    Salary: £11.44 per hour

     

    Re-Employ, a Social Enterprise company, was originally formed to support vulnerable, unemployed ex Remploy factory workers who had significant disabilities. The ethos of the organisation focusses on providing opportunities in a welcoming, safe, and inclusive workplace to those who might not have been given these chances elsewhere. They currently have five staff within the company. 

    Re-Employ can offer a wide range of bespoke products for the home and workplace. Their services include logo design and embroidery for branded workwear, creating, cutting, and etching on a wide range of materials e.g. wood, glass acrylic, leather, granite, ceramic etc, producing goods that are truly original.

    They are looking to employ a Marketing Manager who would be responsible for managing the company’s marketing initiatives, using market research and analysis to direct market, plan strategies, and identify new avenues for business. They would also oversee the production of products ensuring sufficient materials and resources are available.

    Overall the Marketing Manager should have broad marketing experience in pricing, promotion, process and people.

    Duties and responsibilities:

    • Understand the ethos of Re-Employ as a Social Enterprise
    • Work with the Board to further the company, reporting on marketing and sales outcomes on a regular basis
    • Work closely with existing staff
    • Identify new business leads in order to build sales, responding to customer demand
    • Work with existing customers, building a valuable customer base
    • Manage and create appropriate content for a variety of media channels
    • Evaluate and improve marketing campaigns, being mindful of budgets
    • Identify and measure marketing outcomes to increase the efficiency of the company
    • Ensure that materials are available, ready for production
    • Organise promotional events
    • Build contacts and links, attending any appropriate business networking events
