    Post: Volunteer Coordinator
    Hours: Part-time
Salary: £25,532 per annum pro rata
    Location: Kirkcaldy

Fife International Forum (FIF) is a leading, high-quality, and people-led charity with many years of experience working with migrant and minority ethnic communities across the Fife region. FIF seek to tackle poverty, low levels of social mobility, employment difficulties, and other issues often faced by people who move away from their usual place of residence. They rebranded in 2023 to reflect their revised values, new model of service, and their Building Bridges Strategy (2022-2027).

The core objectives of working with migrants and minority ethnic groups and celebrating cultural diversity in Fife remains FIF's primary focus. Their vision is a sustainable, people-led, and collaborative forum that enables individuals to make the difference they seek in their lives. They will achieve this through engagement, participation and social cohesion, and by influencing policy and practice for the broader benefit of migrant and minority ethnic communities. A human rights approach is at the heart of FIF's work to foster positive and inclusive community development and integration.

Fife International Forum is looking for an inspirational Volunteer Coordinator to join their dynamic team. This vital role involves meeting the volunteering needs of the organisation through the recruitment, placement, development, and retention of a highly engaged volunteer team. This work enables the achievement of FIF's charitable purpose.

    • Managing and developing a robust volunteer team.
    • Overseeing volunteer campaigns and supporting efforts to deliver effective volunteering support to vulnerable community members, including children, young people, and adults
    • Fostering an inclusive and supportive environment, especially for those from international or ethnic minority settings

A driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable for the role.

If you are ready to lead FIF's volunteer efforts and drive meaningful change in the community, they want to hear from you. FIF offer a person-led, inclusive culture and they have a passion for connecting all communities across Fife. They provide plenty of opportunities for people to learn and grow their skills and aspirations.
