FVA lunchtime learning sessions are aimed at raising the skills and capacities of local service providers interested in improving or enhancing their provision in Fife.

Fuel poverty is becoming more and more relevant to Fife’s residents, with recent changes to electricity bills bringing significant financial difficulties to those on low incomes.

At this session, Michael Hildrew from Cosy Kingdom will give participants a detailed overview of issues around fuel poverty in Fife, including:

    • What is fuel poverty? The causes, effects and who is at risk
    • fuel poverty in Fife and rising energy prices
    • How to identify the signs of fuel poverty in the people you work with
    • How Cosy Kingdom’s energy advice service supports people in Fife who are experiencing fuel poverty
