The Independent review of Adult Disability Payment is running a consultation and a call for evidence.

The Independent Review will make recommendations to ensure Adult Disability Payment meets the needs of:

    • Disabled people
    • People with a long-term health condition
    • Terminally ill people

    Who should attend?

The consultation event is open to disabled people, people with long-term health conditions, terminally-ill people, and organisations that work with disabled people. Numbers are limited, so please register to attend.

Who will be at the event?

An independent research company called The Lines Between will facilitate the event. They will take notes or record the event and produce a report for the Chair.

    What happens during the event?

You can say as much or as little as you want, but they would really like to hear about your experiences of Adult Disability Payment. You will not be named in the report.

Will you meet my transport costs?

They will meet reasonable transport costs. If you require train tickets, please e-mail [email protected] so that they can organise these for you. You will be able to collect train tickets at any ScotRail station. For any other transport costs, please keep receipts. They will provide claim forms on the day to you to complete.
