    Are you a positive and kind individual who enjoys supporting others? Do you value the benefit of community and able to work independently? The Yard has a great opportunity for you.

    The Yard is looking for someone to provide maternity cover as their Family Support officer in Fife. The role is for up to 16 hours a week and can be spread over 3-5 days. You’ll bring your knowledge and understanding of children and disability gained through professional or personal experience. You’ll be able to research and provide information and emotional and practical support to families with children. You will signpost available support from statutory and voluntary services. You’ll engage with families and work to bring together experienced parents and carers to support other families as they start their journey.

    You‘ll work as part of a small Family Support team that are based in Dundee, Edinburgh, and Fife. The work is a mixture of home working, operating out of an office in central Kirkcaldy and attending some of The Yard's family sessions in the Argos Centre, Kirkcaldy.
