This event is being organised by Kirkcaldy Old Kirk Trust
It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.You could be amongst the first people to be given a guided tour of the restored tower at Kirkcaldy's Old Kirk. You'll be able to ring the church bell and use the brand-new, interactive digital exhibit!
Attendees will meet the award-winning team from University of St Andrews School of Computer Science and try out their cutting edge, virtual reality recreation of the Old Kirk and Environs. Gaming technology and the guiding expertise of the team will enable you to walk the streets of Kirkcaldy as it would have been in days gone by.
There will be tours of the graveyard and their records can show you where your family members may have been laid to rest based on the database of surnames.
Tea, coffee, and biscuits will be provided to refresh the inner time traveller. Come get involved and have a great time bringing the past to life!
There are opportunities to:
- Showcase your community group with a stall at their information fair
- Showcase your community performance group
