Citizens Advice and Rights Fife (CARF) is Fife’s leading independent advice organisation providing holistic advice and support to local people for over 25 years.

As their service continues to grow, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Adviser to join CARF’s management team. The HR Adviser will be the primary link between employees and the management team with responsibility for overseeing employee relations.

Providing expert advice to employees and management to foster a positive work culture, the HR Adviser will take ownership of HR related matters within the organisation working closely with the Chief Executive Officer and the Board of Directors. A key consideration for the HR Adviser is to ensure the effective use of CARF policies and procedures is appropriately balanced with service delivery requirements.

The successful applicant will have experience of working as an HR Adviser, or demonstrable experience in a similar HR role. In addition, CARF requires prospective candidates to have previous experience in fostering positive employee relations, including conflict resolution as well as being able to demonstrate an ability to work collaboratively and build effective working relationships.

You will have a relevant HR qualification, a sound understanding of existing HR legislation and knowledge in how to apply it, high quality personal skills and a desire to improve lives. Experience of working alongside trade unions would be advantageous.

The successful candidate will be able to work independently as well as supporting and delivering on CARF’s vision and values.
