Cruse Scotland - Supporting people with learning disabilities with grief
Created: 04/07/2024The grief needs of adults and children with learning disabilities are vulnerable to being overlooked or misunderstood due to communication and cognitive challenges. This can sadly result in vulnerable people's core grief needs being minimised or unmet.
Using story and social narratives, this training session aims to resource those supporting adults and children with learning disabilities in their grief in a way that is appropriate to their individual needs.
