It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.How do we work together to create good health for all? Health inequalities mean that people living with social, economic, physical disadvantages are more likely to experience ill-health and die earlier.
Join the panel discussion to explore the right to health, barriers, and access to health services as they specifically impact race, prison population, poverty and the role data plays in tackling health inequalities.

Tejesh Mistry is Chief Executive of Voluntary Health Scotland and Board Member of Sport Scotland. He is passionate about addressing inequalities within society and has a wealth of experience within the Third Sector leading national behaviour change programmes, developing impact frameworks, partnership development and strategic communications.
Wendy Sinclair-Gieben has worked in the fields of Immigration, Prisons, Education, Prisoner Transport and Health and believes her role as HM Chief Inspector of Prisons for Scotland is the culmination of this experience. Her role is to provide confidence that Prisons are contributing in the widest sense to a safer community.
Danny Boyle is the Parliamentary and Policy officer at BEMIS. BEMIS aims to address inequalities by empowering communities, working towards an inclusive society by establishing structures, which recognise diversity and empowers ethnic minorities, and ensuring that they are fully recognised as a valued part of the Scottish multicultural civic society.
Peter Kelly joined the Poverty Alliance 2002, becoming Director in 2004. He is responsible for the overall day-to-day management of the organisation. Peter represents the Alliance in a variety of forums and networks. Peter is also Company Secretary on the Board of the Alliance.
Maree Aldam is CEO of Amma Birth Companions – a Glasgow-based charity that works to improve pregnancy, birth and parenting outcomes and experiences for people facing inequalities, including those with insecure migration status. Maree recently co-chaired the Scottish Government’s Short Life Working Group on Racialised Inequalities in Maternity Care unity.
