The Volunteering and Voluntary Sector Awards champion the truly exceptional work of volunteers and voluntary organisations in Fife.

The 16 categories recognise incredible contribution and outstanding volunteering. The awards are the highlight of the year for volunteering in Fife, shining a light on success stories and the brilliant people and organisations that provide vital services to their local community.

The awards took place on Wednesday 05 June 2024, at the Carnegie Conference Centre in Dunfermline.

Hosted by the Rt Hon. Henry McLeish, and awards presented by Deputy Provost Cllr Dave Dempsey and award sponsors it was a special evening of celebration recognising the incredible contribution volunteers bring to the sector. We were also joined by Shirley-Anne Somerville, Cabinet Secretary for Social Justice, who urges us all to celebrate volunteering and spread the word to encourage others to contribute their time.
