This training is delivered over three sessions and is for anyone wishing to find out more about volunteering and to support you to take your first steps into a volunteering role.

We will introduce you to the world of volunteering and the variety of roles and opportunities that are available. We will help you prepare for starting your journey as a volunteer, including what to expect, the benefits of volunteering, and deciding on how much time you wish to commit. The training will also include practical support, ranging from completing volunteer application forms, preparing to meet your chosen charity, and the support provided whilst you are volunteering. You will receive a certificate on completion of the training.

    Stage 2 – Boundaries and Support - Wednesday 17 July 2024

    Stage 3 – Practical Elements of Volunteering - Wednesday 24 July 2024

All sessions are from 10.00am to 12.30pm and delivered in person at Dunfermline Community Support Hub, which is in the Kingsgate Shopping Centre (right next door to Superdrug). To ensure you have access to all information and to receive your certificate you need to attend all three sessions.
