It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.Together with the Centre for Engineering, Education and Development (CeeD) Flexiblity Works will host a morning of insightful panel discussions to inspire and support employers to move the dial on gender diversity in engineering. In particular, participants will hear from female engineers about what has helped or hindered their careers so far, and employers that are taking effective proactive steps to attract and retain women in their workforce.
The event will include:
- Success stories and practical advice from a range of Scottish employers that are recruiting, developing, and retaining top female talent
- Personal stories from women in engineering about the barriers they’ve faced and what has helped them overcome these
- Top tips on how flexible working can be leveraged to attract and retain women, especially mothers, in engineering roles, and help create a positive, inclusive culture that benefits all workers and the business
- The chance to question the expert panel
- Networking opportunities
- Light refreshments
