It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.

International Futures Forum (IFF) is an educational charity based in Fife which aims to grow the capacity to thrive, not just survive, in the 21st century. One of the key components for enabling this is Kitbag. Developed by a group of professionals and designers, the resource provides ways for children, young people and adults to engage in meaningful conversations to become calmer, share their feelings and grow more trusting relationships.

Kitbag comprises a cloth-wrap, printed material in the form of cards and booklets, a wooden talking stick, a small vial of aromatic oil, a one-minute and three-minute sand-timer and two finger puppets. There is music available by download to accompany the kit.

    How do you use Kitbag?

Whilst Kitbag is designed to be used intuitively and without specific training (there is also an instruction booklet included), many people find it helpful to participate in a simple introductory session to learn more about its use. In this session, you work through each component of Kitbag experiencing how it is used and reflecting on how this can help you in your work and/or with your family. International Futures Forum provides this training through a one-hour session via Zoom.

    How to take part

You'll need a computer with web access, a webcam and microphone. Alternatively, a phone line will provide audio access. Ideally you'll have a Kitbag in front of you. These can be found at https://www.internationalfuturesforum.com/iff-kitbag. If you don't have one they will work around that.

This training is free for Youth 1st members and their partners in the Uniformed Youth Work Sector. All others will be charged £15 (plus a small Eventbrite fee) per head.

Please give notice of non attendance, failure to do so may effect your booking on future training. We will also charge a £15 no show fee.

    Book your place here.
