    Costs
    This event is free to attend but to encourage attendance and try and ensure a good turnout to benefit all delegates, we will charge a non-attendance fee of £25.00 per delegate. By submitting a booking for this event you agree to pay this fee for those delegates who have places booked but do not attend.

    Cancellations can be received up to 5 working days ahead of the event, thus avoiding non-attendance fees. A cancellation will only be valid if we have confirmed it with you. You can send somebody else in place of a booked delegate without incurring a non-attendance fee.

    Fife's Volunteering Development Summit offers an engaging learning and development opportunity for anyone in the third sector who involves, supports and manages volunteers in Fife.

    Come along to New Volunteer house, Kirkcaldy on Tuesday 04 June 2024 to hear the latest updates on volunteering development, take part in hot topic discussions to ensure your voice is heard, and make connections with other volunteer coordinators and managers. 

    Held during the 40th Anniversary of Volunteers' Week, you will hear from our keynote guest speakers who will provide an informed insight into the hot topics currently impacting volunteer involving organisations and how these can be managed.

    Delegates can select from, and participate in, discussions focused on a diverse range of pressing issues such as promoting inclusion, recruitment best practice, maintaining health and wellbeing, tackling climate action and youth volunteering, all of which are having a significant impact on volunteering involving organisations.

    This is an ideal chance to celebrate volunteering in Fife, learn about the valuable work of others, add to your network and have your say on how we can best support with volunteer development going forward. This is a must attend event for anyone in the sector.

    Attendees at this session will:

    • Hear first-hand at "table hops" from a range of service providers
    • Hear the latest updates on volunteering development and issued affecting Fife
    • Input to discussions on key issues for the sector in Fife

    Fife's Volunteering Development Summit is is for all those who support, coordinate or manage volunteers across Fife and is free to attend. Lunch will be provided.
