    The Local Government, Housing and Planning Committee and Social Justice and Social Security Committee are seeking views on the Housing (Scotland) Bill.

    About the Bill

    The bill includes six main parts: 

    1. The rent paid by tenants under private residential tenancies 
    2. Court consideration of delays to carrying out an eviction order for private and social housing tenants
    3. New rights 
    4. Other matters affecting tenants 
    5. Homelessness prevention
    6. Other housing matters

    This consultation contains 15 questions relating to the Bill. You do not need to answer all questions. When answering Yes/No questions, they would welcome you giving reasons for your answer.

    Please submit your views using the online submission form.

    They welcome written views in English, Gaelic, Scots or any other language.

    The call for views closes on Friday 17 May 2024.
