This item will show under the following categories: Health and Social CarePrinces Trust will host a four-week employability programme, Get Into Health and Social Care, over the month of June, in partnership with Fife Health and Social Care Partnership.The course will run Monday 03 - Friday 28 June 2024.
About The Course
The course will feature:
- Two days of employability skills & training workshops per week (Monday and Friday) and three days of work placement per week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday)
- Work placements within the Fife Health and Social Care Partnership. Placements will include Care at Home, Care in the Community, Residential Care Homes and NHS Fife. Work placements will be matched dependent on candidates addresses and capabilities
- Workshops will take place at Brunton House in Cowdenbeath and include topics such as managing wellbeing, training opportunities, routes into care
- Travel and lunch costs can be provided
- A guaranteed interview for either a live job vacancy or apprenticeship upon successful completion of the course
Who Can Apply?
The course is open to young people aged 16-30 interested in getting into the health and social care sector.
All candidates will be subject to PVG background check prior to going on placement – this will be paid for by The Princes Trust.
