Community radio station K107FM shortlisted for two awards

News/Events Category: General NewsK107FM, the award winning community radio station based in Kirkcaldy, is celebrating further recognition for the work of the station, this time from Fife Chamber of Commerce and their annual business awards.
The Fife Business Awards are a highlight of the region's business calendar which culminate in an annual event, this year there are 11 categories that will showcase some of the best businesses from across Fife.
After being nominated in 2023 within the Community Partnership category, K107FM have been named as a finalist within this category again for 2024. Additionally the station has also been listed as a finalist in the Marketing category, which this year also brings in both Creativity and Innovation, expanding the opportunities for applications into a newly formed “Marketing & Creativity and Innovation” category.
A K107FM spokesperson said: “Our Community Partnership nomination in 2023 was something we were deeply proud of, so to be nominated in this category once again is testament to the continued endeavours of the station and a signal of our ambition to work alongside more local organisations.
To then also receive a nomination within the Marketing & Creativity and Innovation category also demonstrates the growth of the station in terms of its promotional offering. The power of local radio and K107FM’s proactive approach as an additional and cost effective option to add to the marketing mix for both local and national businesses.

The Fife Chamber of Commerce Annual Business Awards Ceremony will be held at the Old Course Hotel on 07 June 2024.
