FULLY BOOKED - Scotland’s Mental Health First Aid

This is a two-day training course, running on Tuesday 18 and Wednesday 19 June 2024. Participants must be able to attend on both days.
Aim
To raise awareness of mental health and wellbeing issues and to provide participants with basic crisis first aid skills training. This course has recently been revamped and includes sessions on attitudes, recovery, alcohol and drugs, suicide, listening skills, self-harm, depression, anxiety and psychosis.

This course would suit anyone who is interested in developing their knowledge and skills in supporting someone with a mental health problem or suicidal thoughts.

Please note: Attendance at this course will require registering attendance with both Fife Voluntary Action and Public Health Scotland. Details of how to register for the course with Public Health Scotland will be supplied by Fife Voluntary Action after the initial booking request.
