Community Support Hub Dunfermline Officially Opens
Created: 21/02/2024The Community Support Hub officially opened on Wednesday 21 February 2024. Delivered in partnership with a wide range of local third sector organisations and public sector partners, the Hub is a multipurpose centre providing a range of free services to the local community.
Services include advice and information including crisis support, budgeting and financial management, employment support, and volunteering.
The Hub is led and delivered by Fife Voluntary Action (FVA), in close partnership with Citizens Advice and Rights Fife (CARF), Kingdom Community Bank, Fife Council, Frontline Fife, Fife Law Centre, Social Security Scotland, BRAG Enterprises, LinkLiving, Disabled Person’s Housing Service (DPHS), The Princes Trust, Social Security Scotland and Drugs and Alcohol Psychotherapies Ltd (DAPL). In addition to third party services, FVA will run a volunteering shop and Footcare Fife from the Hub.
The development of the Community Support Hub has been possible with additional funding, donations and work from the National Lottery Awards for All, Liberton Developments Edinburgh, Forbo, McCreadie, Vantage Signs, Howdens Glenrothes, MGM Timber Dunfermline, CEF, DNA Flooring, Dulux Decorator Centre Kirkcaldy, Marvent and Emtec Group.
The Community Support Hub is located in Unit C of the Kingsgate Centre in Dunfermline, situated next to Superdrug. The Hub will be open 9.00am - 5.00pm, Monday to Saturday.
