    Kingdom Works will host many sector-based employability academies over January, February and March. These courses are open to unemployed people and run over 3-5 days.  

    Courses currently on offer:


    Warehousing Works

    Dates: 22-24 January, 21-24 February and 25-27 March 2024

    Candidates must be unemployed and aged 19 or over.

    Practical training includes: 

    • Forklift training (participants will gain a Forklift C/B licence) 
    • Emergency First Aid at Work 
    • Employability skills to help participants market their new skills and training to employers

     

    Construction Works

    Dates: 26 February-01 March 2024

    Candidates must be unemployed and aged 19 or over.

    Practical training includes: 

    • CSCS Health and Safety training and test card
    • Asbestos awareness 
    • Abrasive wheels
    • Manual handling
    • Working at heights
