Hours: 15 hours per week
Work pattern: Your hours of work will be one hour each evening on weekdays, three hours on Saturday and three hours on Sunday, however theirr client is happy to have a flexible approach to working hours. There is a need for you to be flexible and these hours may be changed as required according to the employer’s needs.
Location: St Andrews
Salary: £12.50 per hour
Contract: Permanent
SDS Options is looking for a personal assistant to help a 39-year-old female who has severe ME and allergies. Initially she is confined to her bed and needs help to transfer to bathroom etc.
With various health needs our client requires understanding and sensitivity to building a connection and trust whilst undertaking tasks. She is looking for assistance to support her to build routine and encourage her to try new things.
Their client would prefer evening visits during the week and at the weekend two hours 12-3 pm and one hour later in the evening. Both Saturday and Sunday would be an afternoon start as she has issues sleeping, however she is happy to discuss a flexible approach to working hours.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provision of personal care
- Meal preparation, shopping assistance and cooking
- Assisting client to have a wash down, bath, change clothes
- Light housekeeping
