Fife Business Diversity Awards 2023 - Winners Announced
Created: 12/12/2023Fife Business Diversity Awards hosted its 21st year celebration at the Bay Hotel on 01 December 2023 to over 100 guests, nominators and nominees. The celebration was kicked off by Fife Provost and Councillor Jim Leishman. Six awards were up for nomination which included:
Achiever Award, presented by Cllr Judy Hamilton, was won by Calvin Murray
Adult Award, presented by Dorothee Leslie, Opportunities Fife Chair, was won by Mykola Kartarsev
Young Person's Award, presented by Kirsty Martin, Service Manager, Fife Council Employment Service, was won by Sophie Pace-Balzan
Health and Disabilities Award, presented by Fife Provost and Councillor Jim Leishman, was won by David Allan
Healthy Workplace Award, presented by Gordon Mole, Head of Service for Business and Employability, was won by Kingdom Housing Association
Employability Award, presented by Cllr Altany Craik, was won by Fife Gingerbread and Lone Parents
Everyone had an amazing time. All shortlisted nominees received a framed certificate and a beautifully packaged gift bag with voucher and FBDA2023 mugs made by Milly McCrombie - a recently recruited young person to the Employability Service. Bronze, Silver and Gold winners also received glass paperweights and Gold winners picked up a fabulous hand crafted and unique award made at Skills Development and Conference Centre Supported Employment Training Unit by Karen Brown and clients.
