FHSCP - Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Engagement Session (Virtual, February)
Created: 01/12/2023Please note: the survey and training sessions are open to Fife Health and Social Care Partnership staff only.
The Fife Health and Social Care Partnership (FHSCP) wants to ensure that they, as a Partnership (and the stakeholders they work with), embed the practice of providing spaces, measures, and opportunities within their workforce for people who might otherwise be excluded or marginalised because of their identity characteristics. This can include those who have disabilities, those from minority social and ethnic backgrounds, genders, sexual orientations etc.
They want to understand from their workforce what your needs, wants, and thoughts are regarding Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI), which will help shape and inform the key initiatives thety would like to focus on within the FHSCP EDI Workforce Action Plan.
Their planned engagement sessions will be led in partnership with Fife Centre for Equalities. The sessions have been carefully designed to provide opportunities for members of Fife Health and Social Care Partnership workforce to come together and explore equality, diversity, and inclusion in an informal safe space.
This has been designed firstly to be a listening exercise, for giving opportunities to members of the workforce if they feel comfortable to share their points of view about how to improve inclusion. The sessions will consist of group discussions, activities, and reflection spaces.
Participants can contribute to discussions as much as they feel comfortable, or simply listen. There aim to make the sessions as accessible as possible.
If you can't make this session, don't worry - there are other sessions available:
