Anyone working directly with low income households in health, education, childcare, social work and voluntary sector, who can play a part in promoting take-up and maximising income. No existing skills or previous training required.The training will provide an overview of Fife's Benefit Take Up campaign, training on the use of a benefit check tool and access to a toolkit that will aid you in discussions with Fife customers.
By the end of this course participants will have:
An increased understanding of Fife’s Benefit Checker, including how to confidently navigate through the system
The knowledge to complete a benefit check of current entitlement
The ability to complete application forms for potential benefit entitlements highlight
A trusted way to signpost people where to go to access any estimated entitlement and further support
Access to the Our Fife campaign toolkit to assist in the promotion to help reduce the cost of living
