    News/Events Category: Job Vacancies

    Post: Support Worker 2

    Hours: 37.5 per week

    Salary: £21,499 - £22,287

Location: Across both Glenrothes and Kirkcaldy sites

Scottish Action for Mental Health (SAMH) provides supported accommodation services across two sites in Glenrothes and Kirkcaldy.

You should be able to provide direct support to individuals in homes and communities to improve their mental health and wellbeing. Support is focussed on enabling people to build on their existing skills or develop new skills, and increase their self-esteem and confidence. Knowledge and experience in supporting people with mental health problems is desirable but not essential, as is working with people who have had long-term hospital admissions.

This role involves shift working, including evenings, weekends, and sleepovers.

If you'd like an informal chat about this role and working for SAMH, please contact Stuart Murray, Service Manager, by e-mail [email protected] or call 07710 386850.

The closing date for applications is 12.00pm on Thursday 30 November 2023.
