NHS Fife - Helping children and young people to flourish
Created: 25/10/2023This course aims to help you feel more aware of, and skilled, in ways to promote flourishing in children and young people. Flourishing is another way of saying good mental health or emotional wellbeing. It means being able to enjoy life, to cope with life's difficulties, and to believe that you have something you can give to others.
The course will be facilitated by Dr Wendy Simpson, Health Psychologist from Fife CAMHS Early Intervention Service.

The day is full of practical, evidence-based information, introduced and illustrated by slides, videos, and group discussions. You will have plenty of time to reflect in small groups and try out some of the activities.
This course is suitable for anyone who works with children or young people in Fife.
