The course will be facilitated by Dr Wendy Simpson, Health Psychologist from Fife CAMHS Early Intervention Service.
The course will help you to:
Understand the importance of helping children and young people grow in confidence, to balance their emotions, develop their character strengths, and become more mindful, in order to help them flourish
Understand the different components of these qualities
Pay attention to your own mental wellbeing and what helps you to flourish
Explore various practical tools by which we can help children and young people to flourish
Reflect on your own experience and learn from each other
The day is full of practical, evidence-based information, introduced and illustrated by slides, videos, and group discussions. You will have plenty of time to reflect in small groups and try out some of the activities.
