K107FM to start new initiative with easyfundraising for Local Radio Day

News/Events Category: Goods, Donations and ServicesK107FM, the award-winning community radio station covering Kirkcaldy and the surrounding area, will once again be taking part in Local Radio Day on Friday 20 October 2023. Local Radio Day highlights the value of local radio to the communities it serves, with stations across the country taking part and celebrating their community.
This year, K107FM are kickstarting a new initiative with easyfundraising, the UK's biggest charity shopping site. This free online platform allows people to generate funds for K107FM whilst they shop, with over 8,000 retailers to choose from and at no cost.
K107FM is asking the local business community, as well as indiviudals to support this new initiative. Businesses can purchase office supplies and computing equipment which will raise money for K107FM. With big business retailers such as Apple, Dell, Trainline and Travelodge, there are plenty of options to choose from.
People can sign up to the platform and easyfundraising will give K107FM a £1 donation for everyone who registers between 20 October and 03 November 2023.
