    Hours: 18 per week

    Salary: £36,547.97-£40,245.94 pro rata 

    Location: Glenrothes, with blended home/office working

    Fife Violence Against Women Partnership (FVAWP) is currently recruiting for a permanent, part-time Learning and Development Officer post. This is based in Glenrothes with blended home/office working.

    Job Details

    The main focus of this post is to support the work of Fife Violence Against Women Partnership and delivering Equally Safe - Scotland's Strategy for Preventing and Eradicating Violence Against Women and Girls. This involves close working with a range of statutory and third sector organisations, particularly with respect to the following outcomes:

    • Increased public understanding of violence against women and consequences for those affected
    • Children, young people and the wider community have a greater understanding of violence against women within the context of healthy relationships
    • Increased understanding of violence against women as a gender inequality issue
    • Service providers are more skilled to respond appropriately and consistently to violence against women and those affected

    Key Responsibilities include:

    • Working with a range of partner agencies to coordinate, develop and deliver awareness raising events as required
    • Ensuring age-appropriate learning for children and young people about healthy relationships and violence against women
    • Contributing to the Fife Violence Against Women Partnership strategy with an emphasis on prevention and community engagement. Increasing public understanding of violence against women and consequences for those affected through public awareness raising campaigns and community working
    • Disseminating information widely to relevant organisations and the wider public using a range of media, including through their social media campaigns
    • Supporting the monitoring and evaluation across partners including "Equally Safe Quality Standards and Performance Framework"
    • Support the team with other tasks as and when required including MARAC and training delivery
    • Work closely with job-share partner to share information and ensure efficient delivery of job profile as a whole
